Book two of the Slammed series - in love, but not as in love...
Book two of the Slammed series. I'm still in love with Will and Lake, but this book made me realize Will has some faults. Really, I think that just made him human, but he made some seriously stupid mistakes, considering he's supposed to be the more mature/ adult like of the two.
However, this is still a good story. And if you like drama, Hoover can bring the drama. She brings it in droves. Point of Retreat was a one-sitting read for me - I had to know what happened next, and how they would manage to fix everything. Especially the end. Oh man, the ending...
Another book that could be a cross-over from YA to NA. Though this one felt a little more NA than the previous book. But still something I can see older teens finding interest in.
